About the Role

You will serve as a technical EHS professional at the Helios data center campus in Afton, Texas. You will manage compliance programs, conduct hazard and exposure assessments, investigate incidents, oversee hazardous waste and OSHA records, audit safe work practices, and deliver training to employees and contractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in EHS, Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-5 years of EHS experience in a critical facility or industrial operations environment
  • Site-level compliance program experience
  • Hands-on incident investigation experience
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and NFPA standards
  • Proficiency in EHS recordkeeping, OSHA 300 log management, and training documentation systems
  • ASP preferred
  • CSP progress encouraged
  • Data center, critical facility, or commercial construction experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical EHS resource for assigned work areas
  • Develop, implement, and maintain site-level EHS programs
  • Conduct and document job hazard analyses, pre-task planning, and risk assessments
  • Manage hazardous waste characterization, labeling, manifesting, and regulatory reporting
  • Lead incident and near-miss investigations
  • Develop corrective action plans and track them to closure
  • Write incident investigation reports and communicate hazard findings
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs
  • Maintain OSHA 300/300A logs, 301 forms, and regulatory submittals
  • Conduct workplace risk and exposure assessments
  • Inspect and audit safe work practices
  • Provide technical guidance to EHS Technicians
  • Escalate regulatory concerns and significant safety issues
