About the Role
You will coordinate UAE venues, vendors, sponsorships, budgets, hotels, registrations, and event materials. You will support event research, speaker logistics, roadmap maintenance, club membership, and on-site delivery for local events.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in events, marketing, or vendor coordination
- Knowledge of the Dubai and UAE venue, vendor, and event landscape
- Proficiency with Atlassian Suite, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, and Google Workspace
Responsibilities
- Coordinate venue searches and negotiate local event costs
- Source and manage local vendors
- Support sponsorship deliverables at local events
- Plan and deliver community-driven events
- Maintain local event budgets in the correct currency
- Research and book hotels for event staff
- Set up event pages and registration materials
- Research opportunities and sponsorship options with organizers
- Coordinate speaking-session logistics
- Maintain the local event roadmap
- Log and follow up on creative briefs in Jira
- Support on-site event delivery and club membership
