About the Role
You will help build a robust, high-throughput, low-latency financial exchange. Depending on your interests, you will develop the matching engine, trading APIs, or market data feeds, using systems programming expertise to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.
Requirements
- Work in person at the Flatiron office
- Demonstrate deep technical expertise and broad domain knowledge
- Have a strong bias toward action
- Prioritize code quality and production-ready solutions
- Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Have experience with a systems programming language such as C, C++, Go, or Rust
- Experience with Go or building matching engines
- Understanding of consensus protocols such as Viewstamped Replication, Raft, or Paxos
- Experience building multi-tenant, large-scale distributed systems
- Track record of shipping high-quality products and leading large-scale projects
- Open-source contributions or published work
