About the Role
You will work in an Agile environment to solve complex technical challenges and build scalable software across on-premises and cloud-based environments. You will contribute to projects, collaborate with engineers, share knowledge, and take ownership of your technical work.
Requirements
- Demonstrate solid programming fundamentals
- Be proficient in at least one modern language or framework, such as Go, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, or Rust
- Have a higher education STEM background through a degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification
- Have practical software engineering experience gained through projects, employment, internships, or placements
- Be a British citizen or hold dual British nationality
- Be eligible for Developed Vetting clearance
- Live within commuting distance of Manchester
Responsibilities
- Solve complex technical challenges using software engineering methods, languages, and frameworks
- Develop software across on-premises and cloud-based environments
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver innovative and scalable systems
- Contribute to large-scale projects and share knowledge with the engineering community
- Take ownership of technical work
