About the Role
You will lead the strategy, architecture, operating-model design, and delivery of an SMA platform. You will translate business strategy into roadmaps and delivery plans, align cross-functional stakeholders, modernize workflows, drive adoption, and improve automation, data quality, and platform efficiency.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years in investment management leading cross-functional product and engineering programs.
- Direct experience in SMA technology and the portfolio lifecycle.
- Knowledge of an existing SMA investment platform.
- Ability to deliver large-scale cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to translate business vision into architecture strategy, roadmaps, and structured objectives.
- Mastery of agile software development lifecycle practices.
- Executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience building complex platform products in a matrixed organization.
- Experience using AI tools to improve software development lifecycle delivery and product capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve SMA platform business architecture across portfolio management, trading, compliance, and operations workflows.
- Identify platform integration points with dependent systems.
- Translate SMA business strategy into product roadmaps, architectural blueprints, and delivery plans.
- Break down initiatives into epics, features, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead alignment and program execution across product, engineering, operations, data, and risk.
- Design scalable investment-lifecycle workflows and ownership boundaries.
- Establish standards, playbooks, and governance for execution at scale.
- Drive adoption of platform capabilities and establish feedback loops.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, data quality, and workflow efficiency.
