About the Role
You will lead software quality engineering across firmware, compilers, runtimes, and inference serving. You will assess and reset the test strategy, build reusable frameworks and automated suites, establish numerical and performance regression detection, define release gates, improve defect triage, and lead a team of eight engineers.
Requirements
- Experience leading a software quality or test engineering team
- Experience changing the direction of an existing team
- Python or C++ programming ability
- Test-framework development experience
- Systems software testing experience
- Hardware and software integration testing experience
- Test-strategy experience under resource constraints
- CI integration and release-gate experience
- Data-driven coverage and risk assessment
Responsibilities
- Lead software quality strategy and test tiering across firmware, compiler, runtime, and inference serving
- Assess existing test coverage and establish a revised quality strategy
- Build reusable test frameworks and harnesses
- Develop automated functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites
- Establish accuracy and numerical regression detection policies
- Implement performance regression detection and benchmarking hygiene
- Define measurable release-readiness criteria and quality gates
- Manage defect triage, escape analysis, and quality metrics
- Lead, grow, and hire for a team of eight engineers
- Set engineering testing standards and tooling
