About the Role

You will own end-to-end post-silicon validation across optical, electrical, and system levels. You will build and scale validation capabilities, define automated test environments, identify integration risks, lead technical triage, and align validation coverage with product requirements.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Photonics, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • 12+ years of semiconductor or hardware validation experience with optical or photonics link-level products.
  • Technical background in laser, optics, or silicon photonics architecture and characterization.
  • 5+ years developing test content, automation infrastructure, and scripts in Python or C++.
  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional engineering teams working on transceivers or link-level products.
  • Understanding of IEEE, MSA, and OIF requirements and corner-testing validation.
  • Ability to establish test methodologies, process improvements, and data-analysis workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Scale the product validation team by recruiting, mentoring, and developing multidisciplinary talent.
  • Drive silicon and platform validation strategies, requirements, and execution plans.
  • Architect scalable validation environments, test frameworks, automated test suites, and telemetry workflows.
  • Analyze silicon and system architectures to identify integration risks, design gaps, and marginality issues.
  • Oversee validation execution and lead technical triage and root-cause debugging.
  • Align validation coverage with design specifications and system requirements.
  • Influence pre-silicon design and simulation milestones to support validation.
  • Drive hardware and software automation initiatives across validation labs.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health care plan including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement savings matching program.
  • Life insurance including basic, voluntary, and AD&D coverage.
  • Generous vacation, sick time, and public holidays.
