About the Role
Join Ripple's San Francisco office to scale the operational backbone behind its payment products. Build a scalable 24/7 operating model, optimize processes, automate operations at global scale, and partner with Product, Trading, Risk, Treasury, and Engineering.
Requirements
- 10+ years in operations supporting payment services, trading, or middle office, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership capacity
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving ability
- Familiarity with payment services, collections, markets, instruments, OTC, crypto, derivatives, and reconciliation principles
- Comfort with Google and Microsoft applications, ideally Excel and VBA
- Experience supporting connectivity with banks, exchanges, or crypto platforms
- Exposure to automation initiatives and SQL query creation is preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product, Trading, Treasury, and external customers to ensure timely settlement of crypto and fiat funds across products
- Build programs and strategies that identify and resolve discrepancies quickly, coordinating across internal partners and counterparties
- Support exchange and bank connectivity, integrating data into core operational processes
- Lead the transformation of reconciliation from manual to automated across a suite of products
- Assess risks and requirements across asset types, including cryptocurrencies, to respond quickly to market activity and exceptions
- Document and refine finance operational flows with key partners
- Support a globally distributed customer base for 24x7 offerings, including weekend and holiday activity
