About the Role
You will execute weekly exploratory testing of the scanner and supporting software, document and triage reproducible issues, and partner with engineering to identify root causes and validate fixes. You will maintain design-history-file traceability, manage test logistics, develop continuous testing approaches, and coordinate verification and validation activities.
Requirements
- Demonstrate hands-on testing ability for complex electromechanical systems with substantial software
- Write clear bug reports and communicate risk and impact
- Build and maintain test plans and protocols
- Operate lab equipment and debug across layers
Responsibilities
- Execute weekly system-level exploratory testing across the scanner and supporting software
- Log and triage issues with clear reproduction steps
- Work with engineering to debug root causes and validate fixes
- Maintain the design history file and traceability between user needs, requirements, tests, and results
- Manage test fixtures, data, environments, and calibration artifacts
- Build a continuous testing strategy using automated, manual, and system tests
- Support verification and validation activities and coordinate with external partners
