About the Role

You will lead pre-silicon verification, hardware emulation, and post-silicon validation through tape-out and production. You will set verification strategy, build emulation and regression infrastructure, lead silicon bring-up and debug, manage vendors, and recruit and develop the validation organization.

Requirements

• 12+ years of ASIC verification and/or silicon validation experience
• At least 5 years of leadership experience
• Experience leading multiple complex ASICs through verification, first silicon, and production ramp
• SystemVerilog, UVM, constrained-random verification, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification expertise
• Experience owning a Cadence Palladium, Siemens Veloce, or Synopsys ZeBu emulation platform
• Post-silicon bring-up and silicon debug experience
• Knowledge of PCIe, LPDDR/HBM, SerDes, and coherent interconnect validation
• Working knowledge of DFT, ATPG, and MBIST
• Experience defining verification sign-off criteria and presenting readiness data
• Leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow pre-silicon verification, hardware emulation, and post-silicon validation disciplines
• Own verification strategy, test plans, coverage closure criteria, and tape-out readiness recommendations
• Define test allocation across simulation, emulation, FPGA prototyping, and silicon
• Build and scale the emulation environment for early firmware and software bring-up
• Establish post-silicon bring-up plans, lab infrastructure, and debug strategy
• Lead bug triage, root-cause analysis, escape analysis, errata management, and respin recommendations
• Partner with design, DFT, physical design, firmware, and software teams
• Own regression infrastructure, compute and license planning, and continuous integration
• Manage EDA, emulation, verification IP, and third-party IP vendor relationships
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a verification and validation organization
