About the Role
You will define and execute the UX and design strategy, lead and scale a multi-disciplinary design organization, and build robust UX processes that align design with product and business goals. You will champion research-driven and data-informed decisions, evolve design principles, oversee a comprehensive design system, and promote continuous improvement and design quality across products.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading and scaling UX teams of 25 or more in a fast-paced digital B2C environment
- At least 12 years of UX design experience with a minimum of 7 years in leadership roles
- Background in fintech or crypto with bonus points for trading or investing product experience
- Strong systems thinking and a strategic mindset connecting design with product and business outcomes
- Deep empathy for users and a strong track record of leveraging UX research to drive product decisions
- High standards for design quality and a passion for creating intuitive and elegant user experiences
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels while advocating for the UX voice
Responsibilities

- Lead and scale a high-performing department of designers researchers and UX writers through a manager-of-managers structure
- Build robust UX processes and structures that foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and align with business goals
- Advocate for the customer at every stage of the product lifecycle through research-driven and data-informed design decisions
- Champion and evolve design principles to ensure a clean professional and engaging experience across platforms
- Oversee the development and adoption of a comprehensive design system
- Inspire a culture of design excellence continuous improvement and customer-centric innovation within the UX discipline
