About the Role
You will own and execute translational medicine strategy across oncology programs through clinical proof of concept. You will lead biomarker and diagnostic work, shape program and trial strategy, translate preclinical insights into clinical designs, oversee CRO delivery, and contribute to clinical and regulatory documentation.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or similar qualification in biology or a related field
- 7+ years of translational experience in biotech or pharma, including oncology
- Experience implementing translational strategy, clinical biomarkers, and diagnostic development in oncology studies
- Expertise in cancer biology and drug development
- Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and collaborators
- Leadership and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute translational medicine strategy across oncology programs
- Ensure clinical biomarker assay readiness and data delivery
- Shape program strategy and clinical trial design
- Deliver clinically validated assays and advance companion diagnostics
- Incorporate clinical input into early drug development
- Translate preclinical insights into clinical design
- Collaborate with AI and computational biology teams on biomarker datasets and diagnostic tools
- Contribute to INDs, IBs, protocols, lab manuals, and briefing books
- Communicate translational strategy to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage external CROs and data delivery
