About the Role
You will set the strategy and technical direction for logical design, microarchitecture, and RTL development. You will lead and develop the design organisation, oversee design quality and sign-off, partner across silicon functions, manage delivery risks, and improve automation, workflows, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in digital logical design, microarchitecture, and RTL development for large-scale high-performance silicon projects
- Experience leading technical teams in a semiconductor environment
- SystemVerilog or VHDL
- Digital design flows
- Python or Tcl
- Cross-functional leadership and communication skills
- Organisational and prioritisation skills
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the logical design strategic roadmap
- Lead, grow, and mentor the RTL and microarchitecture design organisation
- Establish design methodologies, documentation standards, and quality metrics
- Improve workflows, tooling, and design processes
- Oversee microarchitecture specifications and RTL development
- Guide architectural feasibility studies and trade-offs
- Oversee third-party IP integration and custom design implementation
- Ensure design sign-off through linting, synthesis, CDC, RDC, timing closure, and coverage metrics
- Align planning and execution with Physical Design, Verification, DFT, Architecture, and Program Management
- Support silicon bring-up and debug efforts
- Deliver high-quality RTL on schedule across silicon programs
- Establish project planning, tracking, resource planning, and risk mitigation practices
- Champion design automation and infrastructure improvements
