About the Role
You will lead regional strategy and partner initiatives to expand enterprise adoption. You will work directly with customers on complex deals to support revenue goals and drive pipeline. You will recruit and manage partners, align cross-functional teams, negotiate agreements, and translate market learnings into actionable product and go-to-market insights. You will represent the company at industry events and coordinate joint marketing and commercial activities with partners.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in business development targeting sell-side capital markets clients
- Proven track record of success at financial institutions including digital asset firms hedge funds or private banks
- Demonstrated ability to lead mentor and develop high-performing teams
- Strong product intuition and systems thinking with practical understanding of real-world application
- Deep empathy for institutional clients with ability to deconstruct workflows and business requirements
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Spearhead development and execution of regional strategy
- Identify qualify and recruit new partners to accelerate adoption in enterprise and financial markets
- Build and nurture collaborative relationships with partner stakeholders including executive business development and technical teams
- Establish cross-functional alignment across commercial marketing product legal and finance
- Contribute to KPI development and ensure BDR and BDMs meet and exceed targets
- Manage end-to-end negotiation for MOUs LOIs development agreements operating agreements and partnership agreements
- Orchestrate inter-departmental go-to-market activities with partners from co-marketing campaigns to commercial initiatives
- Represent Blockstream at industry events and conferences to drive partnership development and networking
