About the Role

You will lead the technical and organizational strategy for cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, developer experience, and reliability engineering. You will define the infrastructure roadmap, establish operational standards, manage cloud efficiency, guide architecture and incident decisions, partner on regulatory requirements, and develop leaders and engineers.

Requirements

12+ years of software and infrastructure engineering experience
5+ years leading teams and managing managers
Production-grade Kubernetes experience at scale
Experience with multi-cluster and multi-tenant operations upgrades workload isolation and autoscaling
Experience with AWS GCP or Azure
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and declarative operations
Experience with Terraform Helm GitOps Argo CD or Flux
Experience building highly available secure distributed systems
Experience with metrics logging tracing and alerting
Experience with service networking and service mesh technologies
Experience securing traffic and identity across cloud boundaries
Experience improving developer experience and platform self-service
Experience working with security regulatory oversight least privilege key management and audits
Experience with Agile development
Strong leadership communication and collaboration skills
BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a similar field
FinTech payments crypto infrastructure blockchain node operations or hardware security module experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead multi-cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platform strategy
Lead teams and managers across infrastructure developer experience and reliability engineering
Define and deliver the multi-year infrastructure roadmap
Set standards for SLOs incident response on-call health and postmortems
Drive workload placement portability disaster recovery and multi-region resilience
Partner with Security and Compliance on regulatory infrastructure requirements
Own cloud spending and platform unit economics
Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture reviews design documents and incident escalations
Mentor managers and individual contributors
Establish team objectives and quarterly plans
Translate infrastructure investments for technical and executive stakeholders
Attract hire and develop engineering leaders and engineers
