About the Role

You will lead cloud compute engineering and define the long-term roadmap and strategy. You will guide architecture, design, code review, and implementation, scale the organization, develop managers and engineers, and deliver reliable cloud compute and virtualization capabilities.

Requirements

At least 7 years of engineering management experience
At least 10 years of software engineering experience
Understanding of compute products including CPU, GPU, and ASIC accelerators
Understanding of hypervisors and virtualization technologies including KVM, VMware ESXi, and Microsoft Hyper-V
Familiarity with AI and machine-learning workloads
Experience building scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems
Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices including coding standards, code review, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
Analytical problem-solving skills
Communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Lead cloud compute engineering and define the team's roadmap and strategy
Guide architecture decisions, design processes, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation
Scale the team through onboarding, manager development, hiring, and organizational processes
Incorporate cloud software trends into product offerings
