About the Role
You will direct electrical design, avionics root-cause analysis, and build and test operations for the V-BAT platform. You will lead investigations, validate corrective actions, contribute to technical design work, establish quality standards and metrics, and coordinate reliability improvements across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and fleet support.
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical field
- 10+ years of experience leading and growing electrical engineering teams
- Experience building and scaling high-performing technical teams
- Experience working across design, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and fleet or field support
- Ability to plan and execute complex electronic and electrical designs in a high-consequence industry
- Experience in a fast-paced development environment with evolving priorities
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop electrical design, root cause analysis, and avionics build and test teams
- Set priorities, allocate resources, and drive execution
- Contribute to design development, reviews, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Lead cross-functional failure investigations and corrective and preventive actions
- Build tooling and infrastructure for debugging, testing, and issue resolution
- Coordinate design and process changes to improve V-BAT reliability and availability
- Establish standards, review cadences, and technical quality metrics
