About the Role

You will build and maintain the software layer connecting infrastructure systems. You will develop APIs, services, background workers, and event-driven automation; integrate platform, vendor, CI/CD, and automation systems; and improve reliability through logging, metrics, tracing, and incident troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering, DevOps development, or platform engineering experience
• Programming experience in Go and/or Python
• Experience building APIs, services, and system integrations
• Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
• Experience with Linux systems and infrastructure platforms

Responsibilities

• Design and build integrations between internal platform, infrastructure, and vendor systems
• Develop services and tools for automation, orchestration, and event-driven operations
• Write production-quality Go, Python, and, where applicable, Rust code
• Build APIs, services, and background workers for infrastructure platforms and CI/CD systems
• Integrate software with Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
• Build logging, metrics, and tracing into services
• Debug and resolve distributed-systems issues
• Identify automation gaps and reduce manual work
