About the Role
You will design and build infrastructure and tools that accelerate the software development lifecycle. You will contribute to large-scale build and deployment infrastructure, improve development environments, create backend and frontend tooling, and work with engineering teams to ship platforms and features.
Requirements
- Be a rising senior or recent graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, graduating within one year
- Work at Figure headquarters for a minimum of 10 weeks
- Demonstrate strong Linux and systems fundamentals, including networking, storage, processes, and containers
- Be proficient in Go, Rust, C++, or Python
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of large-scale build and deployment infrastructure
- Redefine development environments to improve ease of use and developer productivity
- Develop backend and frontend tools that support build infrastructure
- Work with firmware, embedded, middleware, and AI/ML engineers to ship platforms and features
