About the Role

You will establish and maintain a semantic token system and the design-system repository. You will manage components, versioning, releases, governance, documentation, accessibility, theming, and the system roadmap while keeping Figma and code aligned across mobile, web, and React.

Requirements

• Extensive experience owning design systems at large organizations
• Design and engineering expertise
• Strong visual-design judgment
• Understanding of mobile, web, and React UI practices
• Figma and GitHub fluency
• Experience with semantic design tokens and scalable component APIs
• Experience driving adoption through documentation and cross-functional partnership
• Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards
• Comfort with AI tooling

Responsibilities

• Build and own a semantic token system across platforms and frameworks
• Own components, tokens, standards, versioning, releases, and changelogs in the design-system repository
• Set visual-quality and technical standards
• Define and operate contribution governance
• Keep Figma and code aligned
• Create documentation and drive system adoption
• Build WCAG accessibility and theming into the system
• Maintain the system roadmap
• Integrate AI tooling into design-systems workflows
