About the Role

You will serve as deputy to the CIO, lead daily IT operations and cybersecurity, and supervise the cybersecurity, cloud systems, and help desk administrators. You will oversee security tools, incident response, network infrastructure, cloud environments, service providers, technology planning, budgets, business continuity, disaster recovery, policies, and documentation. You will work onsite at least three days each week and occasionally outside normal hours for security incidents.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
  • Experience overseeing help desk operations
  • Experience developing IT strategic plans and partnering with executive leadership
  • Experience managing cybersecurity programs and cloud environments at scale
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience at nonprofits is highly desired
  • CISSP, PMP, ITIL, or Cisco/Microsoft credentials are a plus
  • Knowledge of firewall configuration, PowerShell, and network architecture
  • Comfort working at strategic and hands-on levels

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day IT operations and cybersecurity
  • Supervise the Cybersecurity and Network Administrator, Cloud Systems Administrator, and Help Desk Administrator
  • Oversee the IT office when the CIO is unavailable
  • Oversee the cybersecurity program, including security tools, incident response, and network infrastructure
  • Set security priorities, assess emerging threats, and report security posture to management
  • Develop multi-year IT and network plans
  • Build business cases and budget recommendations
  • Manage key service providers
  • Align technology initiatives with organizational goals
  • Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning
  • Maintain IT policies and documentation
  • Oversee cloud environments and productivity suites
