About the Role
You will develop regulatory strategy across the United States and Americas, build relationships with regulators, and advise senior business leaders. You will analyse regulatory developments, identify strategic opportunities, coordinate legal work across the region, manage attorneys, and advise on legal risks and business priorities.
Requirements
- US state bar membership or equivalent
- 12+ years of regulatory experience with financial-services laws and regulations
- Strong communication, leadership, and judgement
- Experience completing projects on expedited timelines
- Experience making strategic recommendations to senior management
- Experience advising on cross-jurisdictional legal and regulatory matters
- Experience managing other attorneys
- Experience advising on crypto-related laws and regulations
- Ability to advise and build trust with business teams
- Superior organisational skills
