About the Role

You will help design, implement, and administer the compliance management system and BSA/AML program for the proposed trust bank. You will oversee compliance operations, monitoring, testing, issue remediation, regulatory change management, examinations, and governance reporting while maintaining independence from business activities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of compliance, BSA/AML, financial crimes, or regulatory compliance experience at a federally supervised financial institution or similarly regulated financial services firm
  • Knowledge of BSA/AML requirements, including CIP, CDD/EDD, SAR processes, transaction monitoring, OFAC screening, and regulatory reporting
  • Experience supporting programs subject to banking regulator examination
  • Familiarity with compliance management systems, testing, issue management, regulatory change management, and Board reporting
  • Experience with digital asset AML risks, blockchain analytics, virtual currency typologies, wallet screening, or Travel Rule compliance
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently and maintain compliance independence from business objectives
  • Ability to satisfy OCC background investigation requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support the CCO/BSA Officer in establishing and maintaining the Compliance Management System
  • Design, maintain, and execute BSA/AML policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Support customer identification, due diligence, beneficial ownership, and customer risk-rating processes
  • Oversee transaction monitoring, alert review, case escalation, SAR investigation support, and FinCEN reporting workflows
  • Support OFAC screening, sanctions escalation, Travel Rule compliance, and wallet screening
  • Implement and tune blockchain analytics tools
  • Develop digital asset AML typologies, red flags, and escalation procedures
  • Coordinate compliance monitoring, testing, findings tracking, and remediation
  • Support independent BSA/AML audits and compliance testing
  • Prepare for OCC examinations and remediate supervisory findings
  • Manage regulatory change for banking, fiduciary, BSA/AML, OFAC, Travel Rule, and digital asset requirements
  • Prepare compliance reporting for leadership and governance forums
