About the Role
Join Chainalysis Global Services as a technical practitioner responsible for customer value from problem discovery and investigation through solution design, deployment, enablement, and ongoing advisory. The role combines blockchain investigations, data analytics, domain expertise, customer partnership, training, demos, and pre-sales support.
Requirements
- Experience conducting or supporting cryptocurrency investigations, blockchain intelligence work, or financial crime analysis.
- Deep familiarity with BTC, ETH, stablecoins, DeFi, and on-chain data in investigative, compliance, or intelligence workflows.
- Experience delivering customer-facing technical solutions in complex environments.
- Experience working with law enforcement, national security, intelligence, compliance, financial crime, or security-focused customers.
- Experience deriving insights from large or complex datasets and communicating findings to varied audiences.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience building notebooks, dashboards, analytical workflows, and data models.
- Knowledge of a relevant domain such as financial crime investigations, sanctions and compliance, fraud, national security, DeFi security, tax, or private-sector risk.
- Ability to build trusted customer relationships, lead workshops and training, and enable customer teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end customer engagements from discovery through investigation, solution design, deployment, enablement, and ongoing value delivery.
- Conduct blockchain investigations using tracing, OSINT, analytical techniques, and Chainalysis tools.
- Translate customer investigative, intelligence, compliance, and operational objectives into actionable solutions.
- Design and maintain custom workflows, notebooks, dashboards, queries, and data models.
- Enable customer teams to operate solutions independently through training, walkthroughs, and knowledge transfer.
- Act as the primary technical and domain advisor for customers.
- Deliver live training, demos, investigative briefings, and solution presentations.
- Support pre-sales technical engagement, proof-of-value sessions, and solution scoping.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Global Intel, and Sales to improve offerings and influence the roadmap.
- Gather customer feedback and support multiple customers concurrently.
