About the Role
You will lead end-to-end AI cluster deployments from facility readiness through customer handoff. You will coordinate rack integration, high-density cabling, facilities readiness, technicians, validation, and handoff to operations. You will manage parallel deployments, resolve integration blockers, maintain deployment records, and enforce safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 or more years of data center deployment, infrastructure delivery, or integration experience
- Experience deploying hyperscale AI, ML, or HPC infrastructure
- Structured cabling and troubleshooting experience in high-density environments
- Experience managing complex cross-functional deployment programs
- Knowledge of InfiniBand or high-bandwidth Ethernet
- Experience with DCIM or deployment tracking systems
Responsibilities
- Lead deployment of AI clusters, switches, storage, racks, and power components
- Coordinate high-density inter-rack and intra-rack fiber and copper cabling
- Validate power, cooling, grounding, containment, and white-space readiness
- Direct technicians on the data center floor
- Troubleshoot cabling, connectivity, and integration issues
- Lead root-cause analysis for deployment blockers
- Manage parallel cluster deployments and communicate risks, dependencies, and milestones
- Validate deployment documentation, labeling, checklists, and cluster records
- Enforce safety, access control, and risk-management procedures
- Travel and work physically at data centers for weeks at a time
