About the Role
You will configure and calibrate robotic welding-cell components at manufacturing facilities and customer sites. You will diagnose and fix software issues, document errors in Jira, improve release stability with engineering, maintain operating documentation, and train operating technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with C++, Python, Bash, ROS, and Git
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting robotics and control systems
- Experience with Linux and command-line interfaces
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to travel 30–50% during peak installation periods throughout North America
- Ability to acquire a passport
Responsibilities
- Configure and calibrate robotic welding-cell components
- Confirm robotic welding cells are operational at manufacturing facilities and customer sites
- Identify and fix software issues
- Document system errors and submit Jira tickets
- Improve software-release speed and stability with engineering
- Update cell-operation and bring-up documentation
- Train Operating Technicians on new operation processes
