About the Role
You will operate and supervise vehicle demonstrations, prepare vehicles and equipment, and ensure safety compliance. You will explain system capabilities to stakeholders, log issues and observations, adjust routes and content in real time, and respond to changes in schedules or audience needs.
Requirements
- Full clean Japanese driving licence.
- At least 8 years of driving experience, mainly in Japan.
- No blameworthy insurance claims in the past three years.
- Experience as a demo operator or in a similar role.
- Leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Google Workspace or Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Fluent English and Japanese.
- Pass training, pre-employment checks, health checks, and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Responsibilities
- Operate and supervise vehicle safety during demonstrations.
- Serve as the on-site contact for guests and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare vehicles and equipment for demonstration runs.
- Explain system capabilities and performance to stakeholders.
- Log issues, anomalies, and observations.
- Enforce safety protocols and intervene when necessary.
- Plan and optimise demonstration routes.
- Adapt demonstration content to the audience.
- Respond to last-minute changes in plans, routes, and schedules.
