About the Role
You will take on-chain trading strategies and treasury tooling from research to production. You will build blockchain-agnostic execution infrastructure, operate real-time transaction systems and data pipelines, integrate liquidity venues, optimize execution, and own APIs for treasury management.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years focused on blockchain or DeFi trading systems
- Experience in quantitative development, trading infrastructure, or high-speed environments
- Experience implementing algorithmic trading strategies in production systems
- Strong experience integrating DEXs, RFQ protocols, and liquidity venues
- Solid understanding of transaction mechanics, mempools, gas pricing, MEV, and on-chain execution risks
- Experience building data pipelines for on-chain analytics, balance tracking, or treasury systems
- Proficiency in Python, Rust, Go, TypeScript, or similar backend languages
- Ability to reason quantitatively about execution quality, risk, and capital efficiency
- Experience with RFQ systems strongly preferred
- Smart contract experience in Solidity or Rust preferred
- Experience with indexing frameworks, ETL pipelines, or streaming systems for blockchain data preferred
- Exposure to cross-chain messaging, intents, or solver-based systems preferred
- MEV mitigation or private orderflow experience preferred
- Low-latency trading environment experience preferred
- Blockchain node infrastructure and validator-client experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize on-chain trading strategies and treasury operations
- Take trading strategies and treasury tooling from research to production
- Architect and maintain blockchain-agnostic execution infrastructure
- Build and operate real-time transaction construction, simulation, signing, submission, monitoring, and recovery systems
- Design and maintain on-chain data-ingestion pipelines
- Tune systems for execution quality, slippage, latency, gas efficiency, fill rates, and capital utilization
- Integrate DEXs, RFQ systems, aggregators, bridges, and liquidity venues
- Collaborate with traders, quants, backend, and finance colleagues to improve pricing, risk controls, and capital efficiency
- Track new protocols, venues, and primitives
- Participate in incident response, post-mortems, and infrastructure hardening
- Write production-grade code and participate in reviews and security processes
- Own treasury-management API infrastructure
