About the Role
You will lead on-the-ground datacenter operations while maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing high-density IT hardware. You will assemble, rack, cable, and configure equipment; test fiber and copper connections; resolve complex hardware issues; coordinate suppliers; and track incidents, assets, and reporting within SLA targets.
Requirements
- Experience as an IT Datacenter Technician with initial team coordination or lead experience
- Expertise in server troubleshooting, hardware assembly, cabling, and optoelectronic testing
- Proficiency with Jira Service Management, Odoo, and Google Sheets
- Active B-category driver's license
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical role model and mentor local technicians
- Assemble, rack, cable, and configure servers and hardware equipment
- Perform hardware diagnostics, component replacements, and fiber and copper cable testing
- Supervise and escort external service providers and suppliers
- Process and track incident tickets, asset flows, and reporting within SLA timeframes
- Maintain vigilance over hardware, safety, restricted access, and operational risks
