About the Role
You will translate research requests into sequenced data-acquisition plans with clear quality, timelines, and parameters. You will manage vendors and data-acquisition teams, run data-needs reviews, track quality and throughput, anticipate risks, and evaluate program outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of program or product management experience
- At least two years in an AI, ML, or data-intensive context
- Ability to read and understand ML research papers
- SQL knowledge
- Data analysis knowledge
- Vendor negotiation experience
- Cross-functional program management experience
Responsibilities
- Turn research data requests into scoped acquisition plans
- Manage vendors and negotiate commercial terms
- Manage data-acquisition teams and enforce quality measures
- Run weekly data-needs reviews and forecasts
- Identify data risks ahead of model runs
- Define and track quality and throughput metrics
- Review and quality-assure data batches
- Partner with Research on data requirements
- Drive program retrospectives
