About the Role
You will operate and improve the StarRocks-backed serving layer supporting government cloud investigations. You will tune query performance, build reliable data pipelines, reduce infrastructure operational risk, and use AI-assisted debugging and analysis to resolve production issues in a regulated environment.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Hands-on experience operating distributed OLAP or serving-layer systems such as StarRocks, Trino, or ClickHouse
- Experience with query tuning and performance optimization at scale
- Experience owning data pipeline reliability and incident response
- Experience using AI tools for debugging, code review, and documentation
- Ability to independently operate and troubleshoot production infrastructure
- Ability to take on-call responsibility with minimal oversight
Responsibilities
- Tune performance on the StarRocks serving layer
- Use AI-assisted query profiling to identify and fix slow query patterns
- Build and harden data pipelines for government cloud investigations
- Operate and troubleshoot the serving layer
- Use AI-assisted debugging and log analysis to triage production issues
- Resolve production incidents and identify root causes
