About the Role
You will design, build, test, debug, and release React Native applications for iOS and Android. You will collaborate on product requirements, improve application performance and security, review code, evaluate new technologies, and mentor engineering peers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of React Native mobile application development experience
- JavaScript, ES6, and TypeScript knowledge
- Familiarity with Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, and Java
- Knowledge of React and React Native architecture, navigation, state management, native modules, and OTA releases
- Experience with secure storage, authentication, encryption, certificate security, network security, biometrics, and sensitive-data handling
- Understanding of UI/UX standards and mobile design principles
- SQL database experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
- RESTful API design knowledge
- Unit and functional testing and debugging experience
- Git, GitHub, branching, code review, and CI tool experience
- Observability and monitoring experience
- App Store and Google Play deployment and release-management familiarity
- Availability aligned with EST/PST working hours
Responsibilities
- Design and build iOS and Android applications using React Native
- Collaborate to define, design, and ship features
- Write maintainable code and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Evaluate and implement technologies that improve development efficiency
- Participate in code reviews
- Refine product requirements with product managers, designers, and engineers
- Mentor peers through code reviews and best-practice education
