About the Role
You will rack, label, cable, configure, and troubleshoot server, storage, and network infrastructure. You will document layouts and network topology, coordinate deployments and inventory, resolve infrastructure tickets, process RMAs, and follow installation standards. You will also travel to support new data center launches.
Requirements
- Be familiar with data center critical infrastructure systems, including power distribution, airflow management, environmental monitoring, capacity planning, DCIM software, structured cabling, and cable management
- Pay close attention to detail and follow instructions
- Be willing to travel for new data center launches
Responsibilities
- Rack, label, cable, and configure server, storage, and network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Document data center layouts and network topology in DCIM software
- Coordinate large-scale deployments with supply chain and manufacturing teams
- Manage parts-depot inventory and equipment handoffs
- Resolve data center infrastructure support tickets with the hardware support team
- Process faulty-part returns and replacement orders with the RMA team
- Follow installation standards for placement, labeling, and cabling
