About the Role

You will lead shift-based data-center operations and technicians. You will manage the hardware lifecycle, deployments, cabling, inventory, incidents, procedures, facility-provider escalations, and on-call response while helping scale the site and its team.

Requirements

  • Hands-on data-center operations or critical-infrastructure experience
  • Experience leading shift-based technical teams
  • Knowledge of server hardware, rack-and-stack, component replacement, and structured cabling
  • Knowledge of copper and fibre installation, optics, and link-level troubleshooting
  • Experience managing hardware deployments, incidents, inventory, and operational priorities
  • People-management skills
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Fluency in Latvian

Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and develop Data Center Technicians
  • Organize shift coverage, workload, priorities, handovers, and daily operations
  • Own the hardware lifecycle from receiving through decommissioning
  • Ensure safe rack-and-stack, component replacement, cabling, and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate deployments, capacity expansions, hardware refreshes, and site projects
  • Lead on-site hardware and connectivity incident response
  • Build and improve procedures, runbooks, safety practices, and escalation paths
  • Maintain records for assets, inventory, incidents, maintenance, and completed work
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and performance-manage technicians
  • Monitor facility-provider communications and assess infrastructure impact
  • Escalate service, safety, and operational concerns
  • Participate in on-call rotation and lead urgent incidents
