About the Role

You will own operational outcomes at assigned partner-operated sites. You will direct vendor priorities, define and improve operational processes, monitor SLA performance, lead incident response when designated, and communicate engineering requirements, site constraints, and risks.

Requirements

8+ years of data center operations experience with accountability for production availability
Experience managing vendors, MSPs, or contract workforces against SOWs and SLAs
Technical knowledge of server, network, and rack-level infrastructure
Experience building or substantially improving operational processes
Incident command or lead-responder experience
Ability to support non-standard hours, on-call rotations, deployment surges, and maintenance windows
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

Own site availability, deployment milestones, and repair turnaround
Set vendor priorities and lead operational standups and business reviews
Define and improve procedures for deployment, break-fix, change management, security, and EHS compliance
Track vendor performance against SLAs and staffing commitments
Drive corrective actions when necessary
Participate in the incident escalation on-call rotation
Direct vendor response and close post-incident actions when serving as Incident Commander
Translate engineering requirements into vendor direction
Communicate site constraints and risks to leadership
