About the Role
You will lead design reviews and technical validation of liquid-first cooling systems for hyperscale data centers. You will design and model cooling infrastructure, perform CFD modeling, guide construction and commissioning, optimize PUE and WUE, and ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, building codes, and sustainability standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 6+ years of experience designing, constructing, and commissioning large-scale HVAC or critical cooling systems
- Experience with water-side design, fluid dynamics, and pumping systems
- Professional Engineer license or equivalent chartership
- Experience with liquid-to-chip or rear-door heat exchanger cooling systems
Responsibilities
- Lead design review and technical validation of thermal management systems for hyperscale data centers
- Design and model chillers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, and distribution piping
- Perform CFD modeling to optimize airflow and liquid flow
- Provide engineering guidance during construction and commissioning
- Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, local building codes, and sustainability standards
