About the Role
You will lead commissioning, turn-up, and operational handover for new data-center capacity. You will define commissioning strategies, plans, acceptance criteria, schedules, testing standards, and reporting. You will oversee third-party delivery, manage partners, resolve deficiencies, and improve capacity delivery, equipment availability, logistics, and operating processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of data-center commissioning, construction delivery, or facility-operations experience
- Track record of commissioning and delivering mission-critical capacity on schedule
- Expertise in L1–L5 commissioning, systems testing, and operational handover
- Third-party partner relationship-management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant domain or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Define commissioning and delivery strategy for new capacity
- Create commissioning plans, acceptance criteria, schedule milestones, and reporting methods
- Oversee third-party L1–L5 commissioning, turn-up, and handover to operations
- Set standards for commissioning agents, contractors, and operators
- Create functional and integrated systems-testing standards
- Track and resolve deficiencies, excursions, and incidents
- Improve time to capacity, equipment availability, cost, and complexity
- Optimize bills of materials, logistics, and physical processes
- Manage partner relationships and maintain alignment
