About the Role

You ensure banking transactions comply with regulations and bank policies, process cash, transfers, clearing instruments, cheques, and other banking documents, and support account opening and updates. You handle customer service requests, answer account inquiries, resolve grievances, and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of banking experience
  • Graduate qualification, preferably in Banking or Commerce
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong client relationships
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of internal and external regulations
  • Good computer knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and bank policies for banking transactions
  • Process cash transactions, transfer transactions, and clearing instruments
  • Process cheques, demand drafts, dividend warrants, pay orders, bills, and other instruments for deposits within authorized limits
  • Process new account opening and transaction update requests
  • Process customer service requests
  • Respond to account inquiries about balances, transaction details, statements, and fees or charges
  • Address customer queries and grievances within defined timelines
  • Escalate issues to appropriate authorities when required
