About the Role
You will lead and scale the engineering organization, define a long-term technical vision, and align architecture with commercial goals. You will manage strategic hiring, partnerships, regulatory interfaces, architectural governance, software delivery standards, incident response, disaster recovery, and security for global payment infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CTO VP of Engineering or senior organizational leader in a scaling fintech payments or Web3 organization
- Hands-on experience with card scheme rails such as Visa or Mastercard
- Deep knowledge of scheme rules message flows authorizations clearing settlement and dispute resolution
- Deep conceptual and architectural understanding of Go and TypeScript
- Practical mastery of Domain-Driven Design complex data schemas and backend refactoring or language migration
- Familiarity with Web3 infrastructure smart contracts self-custody wallets and DeFi primitives
- Outstanding ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the engineering organization
- Recruit and retain Web3 and fintech talent
- Optimize team structures and resource allocation
- Translate business objectives into a multi-year technical roadmap
- Manage technical relationships with card schemes banks processors compliance firms and Web3 ecosystems
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on security and regulatory requirements
- Present technology strategy and risk mitigation plans to the board
- Define the long-term technical vision
- Establish architectural guardrails and system design standards
- Oversee platform transformations migrations and technology decisions
- Champion Domain-Driven Design principles
- Establish software development lifecycle testing and code-review standards
- Oversee incident response disaster recovery and security protocols
