About the Role
As Counsel, Regulatory & Product, you will lead FalconX’s global regulatory footprint, execute the 2026 licensing roadmap, manage multi-jurisdictional license applications, provide product regulatory guidance, liaise with regulators, and translate legislative developments into technical and operational requirements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a regulatory attorney in fintech, crypto, or institutional finance
- Proven experience navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional licensing processes
- Expertise in distilling opaque regulatory guidance into clear, actionable business advice
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute new license applications (VASP, MTL, and international equivalents) across all 2026 target jurisdictions
- Partner with Product and Engineering from ideation to launch, providing regulatory guardrails for new asset classes and trading features
- Act as a primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries, examinations, and reporting requirements
- Monitor global legislative shifts, including MiCA and SEC/CFTC developments, and translate them into technical and operational requirements
