About the Role
You will support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems supporting critical data-center infrastructure. You will work with BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems; maintain controls for cooling, power distribution, fire safety, and emergency shutdown procedures; monitor infrastructure performance; and respond to utility grid events.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on technician experience with industrial control systems
- Experience with Ignition SCADA or similar programming
- Familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal or equivalent PLC programming
- Ability to work extended periods standing, in tight quarters, and exposed to noise
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift or carry 10–15 lbs
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing
Responsibilities
- Assist with implementing and modifying BMS, EPMS, and SCADA systems
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on chillers, pumps, and power-distribution systems using PLCs and industrial controls
- Prepare and update HMI graphics and monitoring interfaces
- Maintain automated controls for fire safety and emergency shutdown procedures
- Monitor and report PUE and infrastructure performance metrics through dashboards
- Coordinate responses to utility grid events and adjust systems as needed
