About the Role

You will develop, tune, validate, and integrate vehicle control and trajectory-generation algorithms. You will maintain real-time C++ controls software, evaluate controller behavior through simulation and on-road testing, diagnose performance issues, and integrate controls with adjacent vehicle systems.

Requirements

  • Control theory knowledge in optimization, model-predictive control, numerical methods, or dynamical systems
  • Experience developing, tuning, and validating control or motion systems on physical systems
  • Software engineering experience building reliable production-quality C++ systems
  • Experience with latency-sensitive or real-time software
  • Ability to debug system-level behavior in complex robotic software and hardware systems
  • Experience with model-predictive control, trajectory optimization, or motion planning
  • Experience with mobile robotics or autonomous vehicle systems
  • Experience with automotive ADAS or vehicle controls
  • Experience with safety-critical systems, validation, and ISO 26262
  • Applied machine-learning experience or experience integrating with machine-learning components

Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, tune, and validate control, trajectory-generation, and action-processing algorithms
  • Maintain controls software architecture connecting AI outputs to vehicle actuation and feedback
  • Implement and maintain latency-sensitive real-time C++ control software
  • Use simulation, closed-loop evaluation, and on-road testing to validate improvements
  • Define controller interfaces and integrate with adjacent systems
  • Enable new vehicle platforms and product features

Benefits

  • Competitive equity package
  • Hybrid working arrangement
