About the Role
You will design, build, and commission automation and control systems for cooling plants, electrical distribution, liquid-cooling loops, and data halls. You will create panel and system designs, develop PLC and HMI solutions, manage field builds, deploy systems into live operations, and maintain project schedules and budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- 1+ years of professional experience designing and commissioning industrial automation and controls systems
- Work onsite in the Memphis, Tennessee and Southaven, Mississippi area
- Work extended hours or weekends as needed
- Travel to other locations
Responsibilities
- Develop equipment concepts while balancing specifications, process requirements, layout, cost, and lead time
- Lay out compliant industrial electrical control panels and create electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics
- Simulate processes to assess automation proposals
- Architect, write, and debug PLC code
- Create HMI screens for plant and facility systems
- Manage electrical cabinet builds, field wiring, pneumatic work, and fluid plumbing
- Select and size electrical and electromechanical components
- Deploy BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and PLC systems into live operations
- Maintain project schedules and budgets
