About the Role
You will develop, test, and deploy PLC controls for robotic automation systems. You will integrate control hardware and machine-learning software, build HMIs, implement safety logic, document architectures, commission equipment, and troubleshoot systems during development and deployments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in PLC programming and industrial automation
- Ability to manage controls programming across multiple concurrent projects
- Experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, PLCNext, Siemens, or Beckhoff
- Experience specifying and integrating controls hardware
- Python or C++ scripting skills
- Knowledge of motion-control components, pneumatics, and sensors
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy PLC code for robotic automation systems
- Integrate PLCs with control devices and machine-learning software
- Manage integration partners during robotic-cell development and commissioning
- Write technical specifications and control-software documentation
- Design and deploy HMIs for control, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Program and validate safety logic and safety PLCs
- Debug and characterize PLC programs
- Troubleshoot control systems for development and live demonstrations
- Travel for project installation and deployment
