About the Role
You will integrate, validate, and optimise an MPC-based trajectory controller and AI software stack on vehicle platforms. You will improve controller performance and reliability, develop simulation and evaluation pipelines, test difficult driving scenarios, and resolve control and integration issues with cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Knowledge of control theory, optimisation, model-predictive control, state estimation, and numerical methods
- Experience developing and tuning control systems in simulation and real-world settings
- Experience productionising and scaling real-time controllers
- Experience monitoring controller performance at scale
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
Responsibilities
- Integrate and validate the AI software stack and MPC-based trajectory controller on vehicle platforms
- Maintain and enhance the controller to improve performance, stability, and reliability
- Develop control and integration methods for ML-coupled systems
- Test and optimise system behaviour in challenging driving scenarios
- Develop simulation and evaluation pipelines
- Diagnose and resolve integration and performance issues with verification, release, and OEM partners
