About the Role
You will make product and website messaging clear and consistent. You will write onboarding flows, empty states, error messages, upgrade prompts, and marketing pages. You will name product features, improve content hierarchy and navigation, diagnose unclear pages, and collaborate with designers, marketers, and external partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in content design or UX writing
- Portfolio showing product copy and marketing page work
- Experience writing onboarding flows, empty states, error messages, and upgrade moments
- Ability to diagnose and rewrite unclear messaging
- Ability to define brand voice and apply it consistently
- Comfort working in Figma with product designers and PMs
- Experience partnering with external design agencies
- Full-time availability for the contract duration
- Content strategy experience is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Own copy for onboarding, empty states, failed builds, upgrade prompts, and credit prompts
- Name features, surfaces, and settings
- Write and refresh marketing page copy
- Shape content hierarchy, categorization, and navigation
- Improve hierarchy, scannability, and messaging on existing pages
- Partner with marketing, design, and external agency stakeholders
