About the Role
You will lead construction safety across a portfolio of high-performance computing and AI data centers. You will set standards, manage contractor safety, control high-risk work, oversee audits and incident investigations, lead project safety managers, and report safety metrics while traveling extensively to active sites.
Requirements
- 10+ years of construction EHS experience
- Experience leading safety on large complex projects
- Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E
- Electrical and commissioning safety experience
- Experience managing general contractors and subcontractors
- Experience building and leading safety teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- CSP strongly preferred
- OSHA 500/510
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Willingness to travel extensively
Responsibilities
- Set construction safety standards across the build program
- Hold general contractors partners and subcontractors to safety standards
- Direct risk assessments job planning and safety performance
- Control high-risk work including energized electrical work lockout/tagout confined space critical lifts excavation silica and heat
- Govern safe energization and commissioning
- Run site audits and drive corrective actions to closure
- Vet and qualify contractors
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses
- Build coach and lead project safety managers
- Report safety metrics and escalate emerging risks
- Champion Stop Work Authority
