About the Role

You will lead construction safety across a portfolio of high-performance computing and AI data centers. You will set standards, manage contractor safety, control high-risk work, oversee audits and incident investigations, lead project safety managers, and report safety metrics while traveling extensively to active sites.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of construction EHS experience
  • Experience leading safety on large complex projects
  • Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E
  • Electrical and commissioning safety experience
  • Experience managing general contractors and subcontractors
  • Experience building and leading safety teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • CSP strongly preferred
  • OSHA 500/510
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Willingness to travel extensively

Responsibilities

  • Set construction safety standards across the build program
  • Hold general contractors partners and subcontractors to safety standards
  • Direct risk assessments job planning and safety performance
  • Control high-risk work including energized electrical work lockout/tagout confined space critical lifts excavation silica and heat
  • Govern safe energization and commissioning
  • Run site audits and drive corrective actions to closure
  • Vet and qualify contractors
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses
  • Build coach and lead project safety managers
  • Report safety metrics and escalate emerging risks
  • Champion Stop Work Authority
