About the Role
You will oversee compliance and risk management, including serving as the risk management officer. You will report compliance risks to the CEO and board, lead regulatory reporting and communications, supervise AML reporting responsibilities, and establish and operate internal control systems.
Requirements
- Have at least 7 years of compliance or legal experience in financial or virtual asset industries
- Have experience reporting and communicating with supervisory authorities, including KoFIU and the Financial Supervisory Service
- Have deep expertise in key laws, including the Act on Reporting and Using Specified Financial Transaction Information, the Virtual Asset User Protection Act, and the Personal Information Protection Act
- Have no disciplinary record at current or previous employers
Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance and risk management, including serving as the risk management officer
- Report compliance risk issues to the CEO and board on a regular and ad hoc basis
- Lead all regular and ad hoc reporting required by financial supervisory authorities
- Lead responses and communications for supervisory inspections and information requests
- Fulfill management and supervision duties for the AML reporting officer
- Establish and operate internal control systems
