About the Role
Support the compliance team at a licensed digital asset platform while gaining hands-on experience with AML, CTF, CPF, customer onboarding, transaction monitoring, compliance operations, and regulatory reporting. The intern will report to the Compliance Officer and Legal Counsel and receive mentorship opportunities from the CEO.
Requirements
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Law, Business and Management, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant educational background or prior experience in compliance, risk management, or financial regulations is a plus
- Strong English proficiency with strong communication and writing skills
- Genuine interest in and passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain
- Basic understanding of cryptocurrency concepts, trends, and technologies is a plus
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency compliance frameworks and regulatory standards is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic industry
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Commitment to an internship of at least 3 months
Responsibilities
- Review customer onboarding documents for individuals and entities
- Review alerts flagged by the transaction monitoring system
- Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance reviews and decisions
- Update internal compliance logs and documentation trackers
- Prepare internal compliance reports and compile data for regulatory reporting purposes
- Perform other administrative or operational tasks as required by the compliance team
