About the Role
You will lead centralized oversight of compliance issues from scope determination through remediation, validation, and closure. You will track remediation, manage change governance, review documentation and evidence, advise issue owners, facilitate governance forums, produce reporting, and improve processes through automation and tooling.
Requirements
- 8+ years of compliance issues management, remediation oversight, or governance experience in regulated financial services
- Experience with regulatory examinations, audit engagements, or monitor interactions
- Knowledge of AML/BSA, Sanctions/OFAC, and Consumer Protection compliance risk frameworks
- Experience managing end-to-end issue lifecycles
- Project management and organizational skills
- Cross-functional communication, presentation, and written communication skills
- Experience with AI, automation, workflow tooling, issue-management systems, and governance reporting tools
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end remediation governance across the compliance issue portfolio
- Perform quality reviews of root cause analyses, assessments, action plans, evidence packages, and closure submissions
- Advise issue owners on documentation, evidence, and closure standards
- Facilitate governance forums and present portfolio status and risk indicators
- Produce leadership and regulatory-facing reporting
- Develop and refine program standards, procedures, templates, decision frameworks, and playbooks
